CATB Newsletter 9/18/08

Weaving community one hour at a time.

Announcements

We would like to welcome our new webmaster, Roy Warrington, to the Leadership Team.  He has already been quite busy working on this new and improved newsletter! We wanted to make our weekly newsletter more interesting and easier to read. We would like input from the membership, so if you have a community event you would like posted, a class you would like to offer, an issue you would like to put out for discussion, contact Gitama Kinigstein, newsletter editor. Also, this newsletter is a work in progress, and we welcome your suggestions regarding the format or content.

Upcoming Events
Our First Class: Raising and Rearing Chickens.
Our first class will be Saturday, September 13th, on Raising and Caring for Chickens (details to follow).

Saturday, Sep 13, 2008, 1:00 pm-3:00 pm, TBD

 September Potluck Supper.
Join us for a repast as mouthwatering as it will be mysterious, meet old friends and make new, and learn a little about Timebanks too.

Do you offer something unique or different that you would like to explain to your fellow Timebankers?  During September's  potluck, members will have a chance to do 3-4 minute "advertisement" for what they offer.  Come prepared to do a presentation of any kind (talk, power point demo etc.) within our time limits.

Sunday, Sep 28, 2008, 4:00 pm-7:00 pm, Wellspring House, 302 Essex Av, Gloucester

September Leadership Meeting.
Our next leadership team meeting is Tuesday, September 23rd at Wellspring House, 6:30-8:30pm. The Leadership Team is open to all TB members, and we would love to have new folks join. We meet once a month and you can earn time dollars for attending.

If you would like information shared in our newsletter about new offers and/or  requests let Cheryl Davis, Membership Coordinator know.
